this is home

For the past one week, he hasn't adapted himself to this new environment and has kept some distance from me and the other two adult cats. He has hidden himself wherever I couldn't reach him - under the sofa, under the kitchen stove and in the book shelves.

But today, to my surprise, he is resting on the sofa with great comfort.

This is his home now!!

After putting him in the litter box again and again, he finally learned to pee and poo in it. Hooray!!

He is about two months old by his size. He looked awfully awful when we met - wet and covered with the fleas all over. So the first thing right after I brought him home was giving him a bath. He got really annoyed about the bath, however, he was too tiny to fight.

Is it destined that this poor little thing and I met?
I usually take the MRT to TAV (Taipei Artist Village), but on December 24, I felt like driving, so I took my car. I usually leave TAV at 13:00, but that day I decided to leave earlier, so I left at 12:30. While driving on Zhong-Shan North road where there's usually heavy traffic, I ran into this poor little thing, sitting in the middle of the fast traffic lane. I had only one thought at that moment," I have to move it to the side of the road before it gets killed." When I stopped my car in the fast traffic lane, other cars behind me just honked at me like crazy. I opened the car door and got out of the car, trying not to scare this little thing. You know what happened when I bent down and was about to pick it up? This poor little thing climbed into my car itself ....
So I had no choice but took him home.

I didn't choose him. He chose me instead!
